My Preparation
I hold a master’s degree in social work with an emphasis in marriage and family therapy from the University of Louisville. I am a certified sex therapist (AASECT.org). I continue to update my skills through carefully-selected continuing education courses that address the issues my clients bring to me. In my practice, I have gained wide-ranging experience by serving a diverse clientele who come to me with a variety of needs.
My Passion
My desire to be a therapist grew out of my conviction that broken hearts can be mended, that hope can overcome despair, and that fractured relationships can be healed. Every day I come to work believing that my clients have the potential to overcome the challenges they face. I am heartened and humbled by the change, growth, courage and resilience I have witnessed during my years as a therapist. I am honored that people invite me to guide them toward the kind of life they seek.
